After leaving Fortaleza we have two days at sea. As you all know, our days at sea are filled with lectures, food and entertainment. Lectures were on upcoming ports of Buzios and Rio. Apparently Buzios was a sleepy little fishing village until Bridget Bardot found it as a sanctuary to escape Rio, but her peace did not last long. More about this when we visit there in a few days. We also received interesting information about Lava, Quakes, and Shifting Plates. Heard about how the continents have shifted over the past 250 million years, and how they are projected to shift over the next 250 million years.
Since this is a Sunday, the chefs put on a massive brunch with just about anything you could expect in the Grand Dining Room.
The evening entertainment was called “The Music Triangle- A documentary in concert”. This was the history of music in the triangle from New Orleans to Memphis to Nashville. Sorry, no pictures today.
