As we continue to make our way up the west coast of Chile, the temperature is getting warmer. We can tell a difference each day, and before too long we will be back up to the equator. Since we are at sea today and tomorrow, we will be spending time at lectures and other onboard activities. This morning we had a professional chef demonstration on how to prepare four salmon dishes. You may not know that Chile is the second largest salmon producer (25-26%) after Norway at 37%. I can probably tell you more than you care to know about salmon farming. And, yes, Joan did get the four recipes
Another lecture today is about the glaciers we saw yesterday, and the pictures I posted. I hope you were able to appreciate the beauty we saw. Speaking of salmon, I chose the salmon chef’s special at the Italian restaurant this evening. Wow, was it good! After dinner we attended a magician show who is on the ship from Las Vegas. Craig Diamond is his name, and I would recommend seeing him if you get the chance.
