February 8, 2026- Day #35

 This will be a short post, as we are still at sea. Should be able to put our feet on solid land, back in Argentina tomorrow.

Joan went to the onboard church service and I did other activities this morning. We did attend a lecture on Patagonia geology. If you do not remember, this is the vast region from southern Argentina and Chile. It includes the Andes Mountains, glaciers, fjords and arid plateaus. The name comes from Ferdinand Magellan in 1520 to describe the native Tehuelche people. 

This evening the big event is lots of tailgate food and watching the Super Bowl. I hope you all enjoyed the game, especially if you had a favorite team in the game. I did not.
