March 14 & 15, 2026- Days # 69 & 70

 Well we are not in Kailua Kona, Hawaii as per the itinerary. These are days 1 & 2 out of 5, again at sea. We only had two days scheduled in Hawaii. The first day in Honolulu, that ended up in a monsoon and the second day in Kailua-Kona that ended up being cancelled. 

We are looking out at the rocky seas and blowing rain all day today. As usual on our sea days, we are doing some sports events and attending lectures. 

On Sunday, we attended the onboard church service and attended a lecture about the real life Robinson Crusoe- Alexander Selkirk. After a nice dinner with some new friends from Canada, we went back to the room. Our ship was able to tape and replay the 98th Academy Awards this evening, but we are not movie people. 

We did hear that back in Iowa you are getting snow. We are finally moving out of rain, back to the equator with returning times of sun and the temperature is in the low 80’s. This is improving some moods, including mine.
