March 18, 2026- Day # 73

 We are all learning every day, and today I learned that French Polynesia does not follow the usual rules for time zones. Last night we were instructed to advance our clocks by 1/2 hour, not one hour, to be on the correct time. I think this is their answer to staying the same time year round and not observing Daylight Savings Time. Guess this makes sense and works for them, Although, I am not sure if this had an effect, but I was not able to get connected to our bank online account today. 

Because of the immigration officials onboard, we had the crossing the equator ceremony postponed until today.  This is the third time we have crossed the equator on this trip so far, but it is still fun to see people kissing the fish to change from Pollywogs to Shellbacks. 

This evening we are eating with a friend at the Red Ginger, which remains our favorite speciality restaurant. I think I have mentioned before that their sea base dish is the best I have ever eaten. After dinner we attended the 9:15 entertainment by Heather Sullivan. Her show is called Ebony and Ivory Legends. Another excellent vocalist.
