Not much to report today. We are at sea on the way to Cabo San Lucas, so doing our usual sea day activities of games for Big “O” points and attending lectures. Major lecture today was information to prep us for Cabo. “At the Tip of the Peninsula Cabo San Lucas” taught us about the geography, archaeology, history, and tourism development of the southern end of the Baja California peninsula.
Had dinner tonight with a couple of new friends who are getting off in San Diego and headed back to Phoenix on Saturday. It sounds like several hundred people will be leaving and several hundred new passengers embarking this Saturday. Also losing about half of the Veterans group in San Diego. What we are experiencing is the turnover of new friends as people join the cruise and then after a couple of segments leave the ship for another part of their vacation or to return home.
Two entertainment shows this evening, one before and one after dinner, pianist Roy Tan and multi- instrumentalist Craig Richard. Sorry, no pictures today.
